1. Medieval Banquet: 19 November

Join Con.ect and Norm-Hudlin for an adventure back in time! They will be hosting a Medieval Banquet on Saturday 19 November 2022 from 19:00 - 23:00. There is a strict dress code of Medieval Dress. The event is for over 18s and ask that you kindly bring own liquor.

2. Six Dogs High Tea at Hacklewood Hill Country House: 26 November

Six Dogs Gin High Tea at Hacklewood is an experience you would not want to miss out on. Enjoy a lovely afternoon on our patio, overlooking our lush garden with delectable treats and tea/coffee. Our elegantly styled interior and stunning setting is the perfect backdrop for a memorable afternoon, whatever the occasion.

3. Marktfees Christmas Wonderland: 24-26 November

MARKTFEES is an annual curated market experience where guests are transported into a creative wonderland at The Tramways Building (Gqberha). Exceptional handmade artisans & local entrepreneurs display their unique creations, whilst uplifting our charity, Cheshire Home Cleary Estate. Food and beverage will also be available.

4. Aurora Special Care Christmas Market: 2-3 December

The Aurora Special Care Centre, an NGO for children and adults with disabilities, will be hosting our annual Christmas Market once again this year at the Badminton Hall in Alan Drive, Walmer Downs. Come and join us the Friday for live music by Claire Venn and buy dinner from the food trucks. On Saturday there will be a kiddies play area with a jumping castle and face painting. We will have a wide variety of fantastic vendors selling goods on both days-a deli section with tantalizing eats as well as a wide selection of lifestyle, homeware and children's items. Our own residents will also be selling handmade craft items. An event not to be missed!

Cost: R10, children under 12 free

Times: Friday 15:00-20:00, Saturday 09:00-13:00

5. RHBC Beer Run #02 : 3 December

Come test your Beer Run abilities by participating in a 5km Trail Run with a total of 4 Beer Points! It’s simple, you start from RHBC and run a spectacular 5km Trail Run through Settlers Park and along the route you will encounter 4 Beer Points manned by RHBC. Finish your beer and proceed to the next point until you reach your last point inside RHBC.
